Some of my friends state that they just do not see the point in Twitter. Other than friends winning contests on Twitter, which was a definite selling point for me, I’ve found some other benefits. I’ve used it to get real-time updates about events. I’ve shared articles, photos and videos that I find interesting. And I’ve probably bored, and hopefully also entertained, some followers with my inane sharing of randomness.
Today, I shared about my lunch experience at Sâuçá. I got a delicious fish taco, even stating to my friend, Sara, that it was the best fish taco I’ve ever had. And then, with only maybe a fourth of it left, I realized it had bacon, which I don’t eat. Oops. It was so good I kept eating it, removing bacon bits as I went. No biggie. I’d still go back for it, just specifying a hold on bacon.
So I tweeted about the delicious fish taco, just saying beware of the bacon. Sâuçá responded to my tweet saying they had removed the bacon from the fish taco and thanking me for my request.
My friend joking told me I’m changing the world. One bacon-less fish taco at a time. :)
